use avast! free antivirus it's light years better, it has an Autosandbox that places any suspicious file in a separate sandbox preventing it from causing any harm to your system

MSE is by far the worst antivirus I have used, it is a joke, many viruses slip through it and it does a very bad job at removing current threats

Based on your notes, it seems that you have 2 items that are loading at Startup.
    (that would be HKLM - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE and C:\Program Files\ )

You can use the free version of WinPatrol to manage startup items.

Once those are removed or disabled and you reboot, that might unlock the files so that they can be deleted.

    You can also try AppRemover

Sorry, my edit time expired before I could retrieve this link.

    Avira provides this tool.

    Edit:
    Avira RegistryCleaner

I looked over your first post again and it is not clear, to me at least, exactly what you did here.

The only other thing I can suggest is to use Microsoft Autoruns
    It does not require installation.

When you run it, find those two items:
    HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\services\AntiVirSchedulerService
    HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\services\AntiVirService
and uncheck the box in the left margin.

    Do Not delete the items.

Then those services should not be loaded.

If you still can not delete the files, you may have to change the file attributes.

:cool the world looking a lot brighter now, after many times in safe mode, something let me delete those registry keys there were a bunch more than i could find but regedit in safe mode finally worked. but something else showing up computer goes through screens quickly on startup and screen is black so after 6-8 times of that finally get a dos page and go to safe mode run ccleaner then restart and works perfect :) perhaps time for a new computer:tas:duck

    Incorrect.
Avast has become very bloated lately and it has crash issues at boot up.
I experienced this first hand and the remedy was to uuninstall it.
    Problem solved.

Also avast leaves a ton of junk behind and that was even after using their uninstall utility and ccleaner.
After a week of apparently it being uninstalled there were firewall alerts for the avast emupdate still appearing.
The sneaky devil had hidden in task scheduler.
Awful experience and this was with version 8 and im not alone with this problem either.

Avira runs like a charm with no crashes and hidden junk.
    Thank You.
