When I use my Nero and make an audio MP3 disk it not play in my DVD player, it states when I finish burning the disc that multi-session disk may not play properly in DVD players but will play well in portable players. I just bought this DVD player and it plays everthing else and will play like three songs of the MP3 disk that I burnt then it just will not play anything else!!!Is is the DVD player (it states that it will play MP3's, but it is a cheap one). Or is there a setting in Nero 6 that I am missing or is it that they are too high of quality? Most songs are like 192 or so quality. Or is the title length? because it states in the DVD manual that title must be 8 characters long??Please help, I have never owned anything that plays MP3 disc's before...so I'm new to this.

    Thanks,
    B

Multi-session disc means that you burned (to the disc) at different times. Multi-session discs are sometimes not completely playable, depending on the player (the first burn on the disc is the only one recognized).

The best way to create a disc is to compile all the songs you want for that disc and burn them all at once (not multi-session).

So it sounds like you first burned 3 songs to your disc, and then at some later point in time you burned more songs (onto the same disc).

No, I just kept adding songs from the "My Music folder". Maybe I pressed finished to see how much room was left then I pressed the add button again. Could this have screwed it up??Do I just keep adding songs then if I'm over just take them off the burn list??But it only burnt once!!I don't get it..

Just tried it again and selected all my songs then hit add, it then came up with the same dialog box that states it will be a multi-session disk again. Needless to say I didn't burn it. Is there something I'm missing??

There should be a Multisession tab on the Burn Compilation window just before you start burning where you can choose "no multisession". If "no multisession" is greyed out then the disc isn't empty (already has previous burn sessions).

Or you could go to Recorder>Burn Compilation>Multisession tab.

Also, are you using Nero Express or the regular Nero?
If Nero express, on the Final Burn Settings window, there is an option for "Allow files to be added later". Disabling that option disables multi-session burning.
