    I have a Canon Pixma ip7250
When the indicator shows saying ink has run out I mostly get more than 100 pages in full colour and followed by a second warning which is when I stop and change the cartridge(s)
Last week I was printing fliers and the first warning came so I let it continue printing as I usually do
This time I never got a second warning and the yellow cartridge ran dry
I replaced the cartridge and although it was recognized the yellow would not print. Only the other cartridges.
I tried cleaning, changing cartridges etc but no luck
After cleaning I noticed the level of the yellow going down
I've had to resort to printing in greyscale which gets me by but I'd really like to have yellow working again
Can anyone offer a solution to this. I don't really want to buy a new printer

New printers are cheap....its the ink replacement that costs!

Take the yellow cartridge out, clean the contact points on both cartridge and printer, replace and run a maintenance command on the printer to clean print heads, align etc after which, reboot the unit.
