Any website that I try to visit with Firefox, I get the following message:

    ***
The proxy server is refusing connections

Firefox is configured to use a proxy server that is refusing connections.

    * Check the proxy settings to make sure that they are correct.

    * Contact your network administrator to make sure the proxy server is
    working.

Firefox has always worked for me up until this point. I tried re-intalling it but it did not work. Internet Explorer works fine. Any ideas on how to fix this?

    -Thanks, Kippin

Sounds like you have totally differnet connections settings in firefox and IE ....do you use a proxy server? If not (check your settings in IE) unselect it.:)

Ok, every time I start firefox I have to change proxy settings or it won't work. Also, MSN Messanger won't let me connect and I am thinking it's related to the same problem? What can I do?! This is drivning me crazy!

    Thanks
