    Hi guys,

I downloaded MSE recently and upon installing clicked the recommended full scan, every time I do this however it locks up on the file mtsadmin.tlb
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?
    Look forward to a reply

Do you use Acronis True Image?

Forget that - I misread the file extension as .tib, rather than .tlb

I've read quite a few threads and this seems to be a problem since 2010.

On person said he scanned with Malwarebytes and SuperAntiSpyware first. Then he rebooted and ran a scan in safe mode using MSSE. After that he was able to do a full scan in normal mode without it locking up at mtsadmin.tlb.

Scanned with Malwarebytes and SuperAntiSpyware. Had a little problem with SuperAntiSpyware but got over that. However, my computer will not let me go into safe mode, just reeboots and says it can't be done.

Superantispyware has a feature called "BootSafe" which allows you to boot into safe mode. Go to your Programs list and click (touch) Superantispyware and it is listed there.
