Problem with new version of Malwarenytes 2.02

Hi all hoping someone can help me out. Running a Dell Insoirion desktop. OS is Win Seven Home Premium 64 bit. I went to the latest version of Malwarebytes free version 2.0.2 and it is very different. I select custom scan and then select my hard drive. In the past it takes 2 hours for a full scan; now it takes over 14 hours? Can someone tell me what is going wrong, or if there are settings I need to adjust or how to best scan? I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Hi there. A few people are reporting issues about this. I believe there should have been or will be soon an update released to address this.

Only advice I can give you is when you CUSTOM scan, you should do it one drive at a time, and try and have "Scan for rootkits" unchecked.

Is the Threat Scan working normally and not taking ages to complete?
