The mother board is ATX of 20 holes
The power supply wire is ATX 20 holes

    Hi

could you give us some more info as to what make and model motherboard are you using as well as CPU?

If it's a modern motherboard rhe double check to see if you also need to plug in a 4 pin 12v power cable as well, do you also have Ram, graphic card and HDD also installed and connected correctly.

Do you get any bios beeps on turning on power? If so what is the beep pattern.

No Bios beeps, no signs from Bios the initial problem was the microprocessor for a while is not been working now i tried to change the processor, even with the new processor it does not respond, but i suspect the mother board might be the problem but the confusion there is that, the very small bulb on the mother board lights.the memory Rams are ok.

    Hi

Best advice is to if this is an old motherboard and not been in use for a while, is to change the motherboard battery (generally CR2032) and then take the PC apart again and rebuild from scratch and double check all connections, making sure that the motherboard is not shorting out on the case or motherboard standoffs.

Also this from Intel for that baord

So check your PSU is compliant.

Thank you Halo, for your addvice, and consern i 'll start from the scratch to rebuld the computer again, if the problem persist i will change the mother board,
My suspect is the mother board ATX slot, it must have been affected, some times when pulling out the ATX wire out from power case it becomes very hard that it might affect the ATX attachment on mother board of which the electricity dont get to its destination on the mother board, will get back to you whan true,Thanks.

please i am dying of confusion here, I have a HP computer of which i want to reinstall the system i slotted the instillation cd into the cd drive, start the computer, go to setup, chose cd drive as an option to boot the system, here i started, then, i used the partition magic with the installation system that i am using to partition the hard disk, after that, i exit the installation to see how the disk i partitioned looks like, I discovered that the partitions are C and F instead of C and D, the cd drives became D and E instead of E and F,but i ignored it and continued the installation, i fermented formatted the hard disk of which i want to install the system to, the system started copying the files, up to 4 percent and stopped, a message appeared on the screen, says, a file is corrupt, but i trusted the cd i am using, then i had to change the cd drive, because i think the problem has to do with the cd drive, I start the computer with another cd drive and in setup i choosed cd drive to boot from, after all, a message appeared on the screen saying (NTLDR MISSING? ENTER) Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart, i had to do it and the message continue coming each time i restart the pc
The exploitation system i used is (Tiny tux)
