Problem with software/users on network.

OK, so I've setup a satellite dish for our platoon of guys, so we can have some Internet access here in Iraq. Problem is this, everyone been told not to run P2P (lime wire, kazaa, Morpheus, etc.etc) software cuz it kills the bandwidth (2048 down/256 up) for everyone. I've gone in and configure each of the (SOHO) Net gear wireless routers to block a list of port's that support such programs, but have caught people still running it (they seem to love lime wire?!?! ). I've been told those type of software are dynamic in port use and it damm near impossible to stop unless you have a server up and running. Well we don't have that benefit, or eqipment. So what do you recommend. Below is a drawing of the network ( don't laugh at my art.)

1=Sat Dish
2=Sat Modem
3=5 port switch
4= Four Net Gear Wireless routers

For load balancing I have 3 to 4 users per router. Each of the routers is a different IP (i.e. 192.168.10. 1-11 / 192.168.20.1-11 / 192.168.30.1-11 )
So what do you think will help? Is there some kinda of software that I should use on my laptop to monitor with? Is ther a REAL GOOD list of port to block? Have YOU run into this problem???

First, thanks for your service. Been there 5 times myself since 2003.
Im not familiar with the netgear but have you thought of going about it in the opposit direction. Meaning Block ALL ports but 80, 8080, 443, ect. and open them up as needed instead of whack a mole.

 

You know, I did consider that, but I'm hoping for a good solution before resorting to that. But I'm sure it would work. I just have the idea of cutting one's nose of just to site the face....

PS, This is my 3rd go around for me, and many more to come from the word thru the grapevine.
