Problem with the site???

I was just at the Downloads portion of MG and every one I tried to download went to a bare page with an advertisement at the top.
Nothing with what I went for.
Are they working on the server or updating or what?

I came here earlier today and didn't find anything unusual...working fine here at my end...

 

Sorry guys but why post this? Prolly backing up the server or some maintenance. LOL

Yeah. The phone company tells you that too. As if we don't know what a "busy signal" is. I've known that tone for many years.

Well it's not real difficult to try another site if in doubt about your PC/connection, or am I missing something, here?

 

IMO its just nice to have confirmation somewhere is down.

But yeah there's very few things that could stop you visiting one particular site,java and add blockers spring to mind but usually they still partially work so as far as that test page is concerned they will be up.

 

But there is also some types of malware that I've read about that blocks out tech sites or preventing AV updates.
