Problem with Web Browsers

I've used IE, Netscape, and now Mozilla Firefox. A couple times a day at least, I get "Problem Loading page, server not found..check address and try again", or that particular variation for whatever browser I am using.

I know that nothing is wrong with the server, because in IE or Netscape, I use their homepage as my default loadup page. So when I go to MSN.com, I am pretty sure there is nothing wrong with the site. I can hit reload over and over again, and get the same error message. Then it will work fine anywhere from a couple minutes to 10 minutes later. This happens randomly. I cannot find any pattern to when this is happening.

I left IE thinking it was a problem with the browser. I left Netscape after reloading their software 3 times and speaking with technical help and no answer.

So now I am using Mozilla Firefox and the same thing is happening. Of course this only happens when I need my browser most and at the worst times....

I am using a cable modem, a wireless router, and am an AOL idiot. I use Zone ALarm. When I cannot connect, I still can navigate in AOL, so I don't think it's a modem issue. I always run Spybot and Adaware ever couple of days..

Also, when I get the error message, if I open up another browser it will usually NOT work either, but sometimes it does.

Any ideas?

Either Malware is blocking off the internet ports at random times of the day or the internet is horrible you may be too far away from the remote terminal if AOL even has one. Try AVG Free http://free.grisoft.com/doc/1 it may work it may not.
