problem with windows xp

I keep getting multiple security alert windows popping up when i visit sites or even when i try to open my mail....and i cant get full tilt poker to connect.....is there a chance i have a problem with windows xp?

 

the window says (security alert) "Information you exchange with this site cannot be viewed or changed by others. However, there is a problem with the site's security certificate." Do you want to proceed?. It does that with mail or most sites i go to, and i posted in malware that i restored my computer from disc and i think it was you that said i shouldnt have a malware problem go to software and post..so i dunno what to do...

 

Sounds like it could be malware related just by what you are saying. You have a thread here in the malware section already http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=104399 and Halo asked you to read what he posted and suggested to do this http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=35407 and after so to post all the logs they ask. If any problems go on with all the rest of the scans that you can and if you can not do any of them... Then post saying so.

 

i havnt installed any software since i restored from disc and after the restore i still had games and programs on my computer...shouldnt i have had to reinstall the games and programs?

 

yeah, sorry about the different username...i couldnt remember my old username and i couldnt recieve any email from this site to get it or my password. but after i made the new acct. i remembered my username....and when i bought this computer best buy told me that they would make a restore disc for me and i told them to go ahead...there are 4 discs and i only had to use one of them..it didnt ask me to use any of the rest of them....i did this once before without any problems
