problem with XXclone

I have been doing some in-house cleaning of my HDDs and after all was clean i decided to make a bootable copy of my "C" drive, all goes well untill near the end of the cloning when XXclone says it is checking diskette "A", now this represents a floppy that i do not have so naturally i do not have any data on it but XX can not get past it.
I can not delete it from the "C"drive so i am at an impasse.
Any suggestions please?

It did not work David.
I disabled the floppy in Bios but it is the same result.

 

Have you tried renaming it from A to Z?

If i use "rename" it will let me rename the file but not let me change the letter (A to Z)

 

The target drive is a separate HDD, I have tried to do it on more than one and it always stalls at the same place.

 

If you can't solve this, and you are not 64-bit, you could try the free version of Easeus Partition Master. That will clone a whole drive in a single operation.

 

@ digital i did that on the last try but it came out just the same.

@Earthling I am 64 bit windows 7 ultimate andf i have a fully paid up version of Easeus but i wanted to try XXclone and now i am damned if i will let it win.
