I’m running a Celeron 600 on a Trigem cognac mobo. The manual for this mobo claims that it can run at 100fsb but results are mixed with people who’ve tried to upgrade to 1000 or 1100mhz celeron. So I thought I’d play it safe and bought a 766 celeron which runs at 66fsb. The new cpu is recognized by the bios, manages to start up windows but then will restart immediately or after a few minutes. Any suggestions?

    Mobo: trigem cognac
    Bios: phoenix 3.07
    Ram: 512mb
    Hdd: 15.2gb
    o/s: windows 2000

i would say try pulling out one of your sticks of RAM, I just about to try and install a 1G Tualatin CPU in a Cognac MB
