Problems after removing McAfee

While at school I was "required" to install McAfee anti-virus on my computer, but now that school is over I wanted to put AntiVir back on. OK, sounds easy, I uninstall McAfee through the uninstall programs wizard in the control panel. A few days later I discover some McAfee processes are still running, so, after a long ordeal of not being able to find help for this, I find a program from McAfee's site that removes it.

My problems now is that a) McAfee still has at least one entry in the "services" start-up list (though it doesn't start) and, more annoyingly, b) windows now displays a login screen every time it starts up instead of logging me (the only user) in automatically. Does anyone have any insight into b (or a, but that is less important.) Thank you.

 

The easiest way is to use TweakUI, a Microsoft Powertoy...

It is listed on the right hand side of the page under Downloads, I use it on all of our PC's.
There is a listing for it under Logon/Autologon in the program

 

If you are thinking of dodging the login screen you are surfing as an administrator. Definitely ill advised.
