Problems installing Sage 50 2013

I am trying to install Sage 50 2013 on a friends desktop. However when I run the install it gets as far as starting the install wizard then when the software license agreement is supposed pop up it just doesn't. It gives me no error code nothing. Things I've tried so far are:

• Disabling and even removing anti virus
• Disabling all startup services apart from Microsoft ones
• Copying contents of disc to desktop to try and install from there
• Created a new administrator user
• installing the latest .net framework

The disc definitely works as I have tried it on a different machine. The DVD drive definitely works as well.:confused
