I am having a problem with my router, which is:

Whenever I plug it in, the power light blicks and no matter what, it gets no connectivity.

It was working fine, then the light started blicking and quit working altogether.

All help and that is greatly appreiciated.

What manufacturer and model is the router?

Have you tried eliminating pure electrical causes?
    Try a different wall outlet.
Try a different power transformer if you can match the same type.
Is it plugged into a power strip or surge protector? Try a different one or plug straight into the outlet.
Follow up on jconstan's request also.

To your question: I've tried a different outlet and a different power strip. I've even tried a different room and a different building, but to no avail.

    And to "Jconstan": Motorola VT2442

Is this Vonage voice over IP service perhaps?

If so, there are several entries in the Vonage forum about this issue.

It sounds like the router's busted to me. If it NEVER powers up properly, you need to call for your warranty or exchange.
