Problems With Hp Hewlett Packard?

Is a problem a friend of mine's is having, I don't have that, tablet? computer? I don't know what it is call. I will try to translate what she said me that was happenign to her computer:
*Flickers a lot
*During one second a black line appears horizontally

She was playing LOL when the screen atrophied and the image was distorted during ones seconds, then, the image was good but flickering and with that line appearing... it started three days before.

Tomorrow she is going to the repairman, but she wants to know if it happened to some one? And if it can be fixed

Sorry but you will need to get your friend to tell the name of the maker of the system and its exact MODEL name/number.
You will also need that friend to tell you what (Windows?) Operating System they have (Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, 8, 8.1 or 10) and what SERVICE PACK (SP) is installed, if any - all Windows from XP to Windows 7 have Service Packs.
They will also have to tell you whether it is a 32 bit or 64 bit Operating System.
They will also have to tell you whether it is a Desktop PC, Laptop, Netbook or Tablet.

Unless it is URGENT for her to get the system working, come back here FIRST before going to a shop.
Also ask her if she has any SECURITY SOFTWARE on the system and what name it is.
