Problems with Panda AV

I installed Panda anti-virus on my mom's brand new HP laptop OS Win 7 less than a month ago. I run Panda on 3 other laptops in our family and love how I NEVER hear a peep from it, it just does it's job.

I was very confused when my mom began to have problems with messages that her anti-virus wasn't running (this was after about 3 weeks of it running just fine), I tried to do "tech" support via the phone but nothing helped. Today my mom brought her laptop to me and sure enough the AV wasn't running and you couldn't start it, nor would the program open and I couldn't uninstall it.

I downloaded Revo Uninstaller and uninstalled Panda but it left all the files behind. When I try to delete these files it tells me that I need Administrator Privileges to delete the files. I have tried changing the permissions on the files but even though it says I have full access I still can not get rid of the files.

Hoping one of you kind and very clever folks can help me out. Thanks, Brenda

Thanks for your input. I finally managed to get everything working properly.

 

I ran the Panda Uninstall/Cleanup as suggested by sikvik. Reinstalled Panda and the computer has had no issues since.
