Problems with safe mode

    how do i go on safe mode so i can go on the internet to the the online virus scans as suggested in the sticky thread.

    I selected Safe mode with networking but it still wont let me connect, there arent any network connections...
    pls help so i can carry on fixing my comp thx

    (I have 512k Broadband and ive tried using the msconfig method, still dosnt work)
