Problems with video card

At least i think its the video card, when i start any games like Everquest or MVP baseball, the screen blinks black over and over until it eventually goes completely black or freezes and crashes, my drivers are updated, what could be causing this.

but its not hot at all to the touch

That is strange... Have you checked that the card is seated properly? Might not be connecting properly.

You should also check you resolution settings in the game (if you can get to them without a crash) They might be set to high. I've seen that happen many times.

 

ive tried chaning color depths and resolution, still does same annoying thing... since this is such a rare problem, anywhere else i could get help on it? I hate talking on phone~
