Problems with W32/Patched.ZA

    Hi,

    I`m new here and my english isn`t very fluent, so sorry me abaut the cuestion if its fixed in another thread, but I didn´t find it.

    I try some programas to fix de problem a nothing.

    I read in this forum abut tne FRST and I run it geting a log that seems that it detect de problem in services.exe, but I don´t know how to fix it.

    I think I need a file named FixList.txt especially prepared for this problem, but I can´t find where to download it.

    I paste the log and I hope you could help me. Thanks a lot

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

    We need some additional information so that we can replace an infected system file.

    Boot to System Recovery Options and run FRST again.
    Type the below bolded text in the edit box after "Search:".

    services.exe

    Then click the Search button.

    It will make a log (Search.txt) on the flash drive. Please attach this log to your next reply. (See: How to attach)

    You're welcome.

    Download this >> View attachment fixlist.txt


    Save fixlist.txt to your flash drive.
    • You should now have both fixlist.txt and FRST.exe on your flash drive.
    Now reboot back into the System Recovery Options as you did previously.
    Run FRST and press the Fix button just once and wait.
    The tool will make a log on the flashdrive (Fixlog.txt).
    Please attach this to your next message. (See how to attach)

    Now boot into normal Windows can continue with the below.

    Even if everything seems okay now, I suggest that you follow the below malware removal guide to make sure your PC is clean.

    Hi chaslang,

    Here is the log after runing the fixlist you send me. The ads from avira are over and everithing looks fine.

    Thanks a lot for your help.

    I'll begin tomorow the reading of the Guide to prevent a new situation like that in my PC.
