Procedure Entry Point Error

Hello,
On start up I receive this error message:

"The procedure entry point Localize String could not be located in the dynamic link library STLang.dll".

What is your Windows version and service pack?

Do you have a SigmaTel audio device on your system?

What is your computer make and model?

Thank you, I downloaded the latest version of the Sigma Driver but it didn't fix the problem,
any more suggestions?

Maybe there is something in your startup list that shouldn't be there (anymore)?

Can you provide a list of your startup items? E.g. if you have CCleaner installed, from Tools | Startup | Save to text file.

I suggest that you disable (not delete) 'SigmatelSysTrayApp'; that will most likely get rid of that startup message.

Hi Falcon,

I followed your advice...downloaded Treexy Driver fusion....checked all the drivers in the list and deleted the all the info checked by the application. Now I cannot start up normally, only in safe mode and cannot get online.
The error messages are many and refer to "drivers".
The Stop message: 0x0000007E (0xC0000005, oxB8A3A184, 0x
BA502A40).
Please help as I am really upset about this.

Disabling the IDTSysTrayApp got rid of the "Entry Point" error message. However, it created another message for "Linksys Wireless Network Monitor"
Message: Access violation at address 00426059 in module 'WMP 54GSv1_1.exe" Read of address 00000368.
FYI - I presently have a Belkin 54g USB wireless networking utility connected.
Also, for whatever reason, my system seems to be running much slower after disabling the IDTSysTrayApp.
