processes crapola

While reading and posting on some of my favorite forums that other day, I find that a PC cleaner (i forget the name, but spybot caught it) had installed itself on my pc. I also noticed a few new processes running, but every time I mess with the processes, I mess something up, so here is a list of the new ones that have popped up, maybe someone can tell me how to get rid of these.

ccprovsp.exe SYSTEM
alg.exe LOCAL SERVICE
smss.exe SYSTEM
cavrid.exe
cctray.exe
BCMSMMSG.exe
csrss.exe SYSTEM
isafe.exe SYSTEM

and now I'm getting an error message every now and again when firefox is open. I need a Mac

 

Please follow the instructions in the malware removal thread. This should solve your problem, or at the very least, put your system into a known state where we can troubleshoot further should you still have an issue.
