Processes Reverted to *32

Several weeks ago (possibly preceded by a Windows update) I noticed in Task Manager that there were several processes that had a suffix of "*32":
- DataSafeOnline.exe
- FSM32.exe
- iexplore.exe
- jusched.exe
- pvddxsrv.exe
- RoxioBurnLauncher.exe
- sprtcmd.exe
- STService.exe
- Toaster.exe
I had seen these processes in Task Manager before, but without the "*32" suffix.

I haven't noticed any problems with this, particularly with IE 8 that I use quite extensively (see below). Yesterday I started the 64-bit version of IE 8 without incident (except it was missing the add-ons I thought were there previously; the add-ons are attached to the 32-bit version).


On another matter, IE 8 exhibits strange behaviour after a period of time:
- The Back button doesn't work; although I can right click on the page and select Back.
- Select Favorites - the Add Favorites button doesn't work; although I can add favourites from the Menu Bar.
- Selecting Tools is slow and Internet Options is greyed out; although it works find from the Menu Bar.

The problems go away when I end all active browser applications from the Task Manager, ensuring that there are no iexplore processes running. If this doesn't work, I restart the PC. Note: It takes longer for this behaviour to occur if I'm running iexplore vs. iexplore*32.
