I'm starting to go through the process to check for malware but wanted to ask a question before I ran down the wrong path. I have 3 profiles set up on my computer and one of them, normally setup to be an admin. will not open any files. When you try to open a program it says you don't have the admin rights to do so. The same profile will open files when it is switched over to limited use. If anyone has any thoughts regarding what this might be other than malware let me know if not I'll post logs when i finish. thanks in advance!

I am trying to run the steps in the malware removal but I can't get hidden files and folders to show. I have to run the profile with the issue as a limited access user in XP, is this keeping me from seeing hidden files? Read below the only way I can currently use programs with this profile is to be a limited user, admin profile will not allow any use of programs. Thanks
