Program installs on boot

    I had a program that brought up the Microsoft Installer when I booted computer.

    How do I find out what it was? How do I prevent it in the future?

    It is Norton Antivirus. It tries to install and then it says it can't install it and wants me to remove it and re-install.

    I have norton but have no idea what is going on with
