program problems....

First off......Emachine EL1200-07w, AMD Athlon 2650e Processor, 2 GB DDR2, 160 Gig HD, DVD+RW super multi-format dual layer, NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE, Windows Vista Home Basic.....auto updates.....so heres the problem, I have IE and Firefox...they both have the same problem....adobe flash player and java work sometimes, sometimes they dont....hit and miss. Oh and the DVD burner....is also hit and miss....same disc wont work the take it in and out a few times and itll read....I dont rolled my system back....didnt really help. I got a extra DVD burner I was goin to put in but the plugs in the emachine are different......any advice, help.......would be great.....yeah
