programe a display table

I am programming a display table to show results obtain from a testing process.

Date Time COD Remark

date time COD remark
the format is [20051031 00:00 3000.00 xxxxx]

date is yr,month,day
time is 00:00
COD is in 6 int
Remark is in text.

How can i get this whole string and display in the table which i have drawn with the headings above it.

I was told that i need to write a directory which can store this whole string and get the information out and display on the table itself.


Just hope to get some information to get started.

Well, im not that familiar with visual version of c++ but you can take a look at the time_get class of STL. I found it in the following site.

Could you also post a sample text/data file to extract these informations from?
