Programs in the task bar

Whenever I have browser windows open they appear as tabs in the task bar but they are on top of one another with an arrow to the right which I have to click on to get the menu of open windows. How can I get them to open next to each in the task bar so they will be easier to access?

:confused I have no idea what you're talking about LOL but I'd like to help (or at least try to help). Can you provide us with a screen shot?

Hmm, think that they're called "buttons" in the taskbar when having multiple windows open and they're all grouped together.

How can I stop Windows from grouping buttons in the taskbar?

Right click the taskbar and select properties from the menu that appears. Select the Taskbar tab in the dialog box that appears and then UNtick the checkmark (the little square box) in the Group similar taskbar buttons option. Then you should see an empty box there. That should so it. Here's a pic.

Edit: If it is just multiple browsers that are grouping then oma's solution should be sufficient.
