Programs Open In Backround XP-Pro

    Help.. When I have multiple programs runing in my task bar (IE Word , Excel, Internet...) and I click on one of the items in my task bar, rather than opening in the current layer, it goes as the last layer and I must minimize all other running programs to work with this program. What setting is messed up?
