Proxies -.-

yes, i've been looking up on proxies quite a bit recently .

no, not the " web proxies " - aka you go to a site and enter website there .. leaves no footprints

i mean a mozilla proxy ... im anonymous through every site i visit ( no ads like the web proxies ) .

well i've been wondering is there an Entire proxy. i do not want it to run through mozilla, i want it to run through everything i connect to online .

and as i'm involved in all sorts of java based client games it would have to be a socks4/socks5 based proxy .

could somebody " knowledgeable " point me in the right direction ?

 

There are various anonymous VPN services that you can subscribe to for a monthly fee, that work better than proxies. Google is your friend.

Well, in that case, you get what you pay for.

Good luck with gaming using a proxy... the lag time will likely drive you insane.

 

Can't really see the advantage anyway, unless someone is performing a nefarious deed, or trying to bypass a lockdown in place by a higher authority.

Obviously, companies with the need for such VPN do pay for it and have their own servers in place.
