   I recently bought a new pc and just installed clean copy of Windows XP and bought a ps2 to usb converted for my keyboard and mouse but they are not working and i'm stuck with the horrible usb keyboard and mouse.

   What is the brand? Some work better than others.
   
   Toke that is the opposite of what is needed. It is my understanding that the computer has USB ports and he wants to use PS/2 keyboard and mouse. Your solution would plug a USB device into a PS/2 port.
