PS3 to CPU

can anyone help me figure out how to hook up my PS# to my internet and allow my PS3 to get online?
My PC, I only have verizon mobile broadband, it's a little USB modem, Is there anyway to use it to get onto the internet thru my PS3?

Ok i got the Ps3 hooked to pc and could see my pics from my PC on my PS3 and then something happened and i can't see them now, not sure what i did

I HAD it connected where i could share media files and stuff from PC to PS3, but something happened. My PC shows the connection, but my PS3 can't obtain an IP address. I know it is possible. I seen like 50 you tube videos on it. Everything seems good, butt PS3 just not getting IP address. I can see the connection, and I have to set to network to private. well everytime. I try to get IP on PS3, it will redo the network on PC, and I'll have to reset the setting on PC to PS3 network to private.

 

wouldn't you have to set up the computer to allow it's connection to be used by another device to gain access to the Internet or netork?

read something about using a computer connected to another to gain access, it had something to do with the Network Connections, sorry I don't have the article up, it was from MG however

I have managed to get the PS3 hooked to PC for file sharing. So I can see my pics and music and movies and such... But still no internet.
