Playstation Portable is out to the U.S. on the 24th - just a couple days away. http://forums.majorgeeks.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif So what do ya'll think about it? I think it could be awesome however there are a couple things that make be a bit unsure about it: (1) the battery life and (2) the price of the games. Unlike other game consoles, it looks like this thing takes its own specific games....and seriously, if they're $50 a pop then that would be killer (in a bad way).

Anyway, just wondering what ya'll think. Check it out:

I'll take a look at it when I can
but I won't go out of my way

my boss at best buy opened one and we where playing around with it.. the graphics are better then the DS but not as good as the PS2 which playstation claims that it would. the dvd feature is really cool but the only downfall is that it will only be sony movies released for it.

i am very impressed with it. The feature that i like the most is that you can downloaded new items for a game and the system will burn it to the disk.

sony out did themselves with this one

You're acutually wrong about sony being the only one's to release movies, Disney, and Lion's Gate have already commited to producing UMD movies for the PSP. I think that the graphics are just as good as a PS2, and the battery lasts for 6-7 hours when playing Tiger Woods.
