PSP7 Problem

I'm sorry to keep bugging you, but I have yet another problem. I'm having problems trying to run Paint Shop Pro 7. Everytime I try to open the program, a "browse for file" window pops up. Is there anyway I could stop this from happening and get the program to work?

 

I use PSP7, 8 and 9...is the browse for file thing the image browser? A browse looking for a specific file or a needed PSP file? (A screen shot of the pop-up would be helpful) Also, are you able to use PSP or does this pop-up prevent you from going any further?

One thing that resolves many issues in PSP is to empty your cache..for PSP7 navigate to your program files, PSP7 file, open the cache folder and delete the entire contents of the folder. The cache will be re-built when you execute the program again, minus the record of everything you have used/loaded at some point within the program.

One other note: I can't recall off hand if PSP7 has this or not but in PSP8 & 9 if you attempt to uninstall/reinstall you are given an option to do a repair so if you do decide to do a reinstall watch the dialog boxes carefully for such an option and don't forget to save/backup any extras you may have added....tubes, masks, gradients, filters, etc. just in case so you don't lose them.
