Hi everybody, just a question, i have had this thing for weeks and have received help from Bleeping Computer, Majorgeeks(yes, even here) and Seven Forums .

Unfortunately, despite running every recommendation from every site including having all scans thoroughly looked over by experts, i have not been able to permanently get rid of it. I have been able to delete the process but it comes back every single time.

I have even wiped the drive with Dban and re installed Win 7 numerous times and after i do a scan with Malwarebytes, it continues to always show up.

I don't know how i keep getting it but when i re install Win 7 with a CLEAN iso file my system always shows Internet explorer 8 (which is vulnerable) to start and then i end up with IE 9 or 10.

I don't know any other way to do all my Windows updates and install AV without going online with IE 8 to get it done. Maybe someone else can offer their viewpoint.

Just looking for insight , i have been through the Malware removal procedures many times and it's not effective in this case.

Side note: I do not have any current help topics in any other forum because i always close them out before trying a new one, unfortunately like i said no other forum has been able to get to the bottom of this.

    Thank you
    ccn

You appear to be asking about a few different topics here.
    1. The Title of your thread which relates to a malware question.
    2. A question about Windows 7 having a default of IE8 which is unrelated to the above and unrelated to malware.
    3. A question about how to get IE9 or 10 and an AV on your PC before going online.
So let's address these in order.
    1. A PUM ( potentially unwanted modification ) is not malware and it is not a problem in most cases. Almost everyone makes modifications to the default settings of Windows. Malwarebytes ( and if you had attached the logs that you had from the cleaning process we could have commented previously ) and other programs will show you things like this just to be sure that is a modication that you made and that it was not made by malware. If the changes were not things you intentially made or not made by valid software that you installed then you should set them back to what you desire. There are also things like PUP ( potentially unwanted programs ). Like Ask Toolbar, DivX Toolbar, MyWebSearch....etc. These are not really malware but they are things that you potentially did not knowingly install and may not want. Pointing them out gives you the opportunity to selectively uninstall what you do not want.
    2. Question about Windows 7 can be asked in the Software Forum.
    3. Use another PC to download IE9 or IE10 and whatever antivirus/antispyware software you want. Save them on a CD or USB drive and install them on to the new Win 7 installation before going on line.
