PUPs list ok ?

Malware scanning came up with following PUPs...

1. HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Ext\Stats\{CCB24E92-62C4-4C53-95D2-65F9EED476BC} (PUP.Optional.VMNToolBar.A) -> No action taken.

2. C:\System Volume Information\_restore{46DE8921-1D39-44D2-A9E9-64119261F211}\RP118\A0182084.exe (PUP.Soft32Downloader) -> No action taken.

3. C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\searchplugins\mystarttb.xml (PUP.Optional.VMNToolBar.A) -> No action taken.

Am assuming they are all ok to leave with 'no action taken'

Is there a PUP site that could help with such future questions about ok or not-ok PUPs ?

I would fix what it found. PUP's are Potentially Unwanted Programs and as such are usually junkware.

'Potentially' is the key word
But, with that said, when I try to find /A0182084.exe, per...
C:\System Volume Information\_restore{46DE8921-1D39-44D2-A9E9-64119261F211}\RP118\A0182084.exe (PUP.Soft32Downloader) -> No action taken
...lets say, to delete it, its not there.
How does that work ?

The only way to remove items in your system restore files is to toggle system restore.

Refer to the instructions for your WIndows version in this link: Disable And Enable System Restore

What we want you to do is to first disable System Restore to flush restore points some of which could be infected.

Then we want you to Enable System Restore to create a new clean Restore Point.
