Q96050 installed you will not believe this .

Some things I have noticed first off this CPU looks like it has been used ! Scratches on the IHS appear to be from some one els using it . Real temp 2.70 shows that 3 sensors are stuck ( probably why it was returned ) and now this is getting me really upset . Running prime and real temp and guess what not a temp is changing and I have water cooling ! GOD dam I think I got ripped off once again ! :banghead Now what do I do ? I do not want to RMA another CPU I do not want to have to wait weeks to get a new CPU or a used one from NewEgg What the hell do I do now ?

 

Well Crash101, if it is as you say, and I can believe it is, that sucker would be RMA'd. After all, that thing isn't cheap and if you paid for a new one, that's what you're entitled too. You said you don't want to RMA it, but you really only have 2 options, return it, or keep it even though it may be defective. In actuality, you really only have ONE logical option....RMA. I've dealt with Newegg ALOT and have never had a problem like this, or any other for that matter. Call their tech support and see what they say, they are usually very good about these kind of things. However, if you do call, don't go off the 'deep-end,' okay. That will get you nothing, except for maybe being disconnected!! Also, I realize you are upset, but it would be appreciated if you'd choose your wording a little more carefully and I think you know what I'm referring to in your post.

 

Yes I got you . I think it is all fine so far this CPU is reaching 3.6GHz and well nothing wrong with that now is there ?
I hear that many IHS's have the same kind of scratches as mine has so I do not think that they gave me a used one I will continue to test . the sensors wrok on 2 cores now and the other 2 are seeming like they are going to follow in line but no matter that is just not as important as Over clocking to me .
