Question About 2 Hijack This Entries...

    I was just checking my Hijack This log to make sure everything is in tip top shape and noticed these two Windows Messenger entries... as far as i know, Windows Messenger is normally utlized by Spyware programs to send you pop ups?

    O9 - Extra button: Messenger - {FB5F1910-F110-11d2-BB9E-00C04F795683} - C:\Program Files\Messenger\msmsgs.exe
    O9 - Extra 'Tools' menuitem: Windows Messenger - {FB5F1910-F110-11d2-BB9E-00C04F795683} - C:\Program Files\Messenger\msmsgs.exe

    i'd like to know if i can check them off and fix them =]

    If you do not use Windows Messenger yes fix them but it may run anyway. Use the below:

    Disable/Remove Windows Messenger
