question about auducity

    i downloaded auducity to help my grandpa save some conversations of his off a recorder but every time i saved a "project" i got a bunch of extra data in a folder called "file name" data, my question is do i need this stuff for the other recordings to work? its kind of a rush sence he need to know if he can delete the iles i recorded from his recorder. he needs it by monday so its a bit of a rush job

    i found out you do still need them the program runs a file by keeping individual snips of the file and then one file to open the snips almost like a short cut

    Hi Ya, red death68

    After you have stopped recording
    • click on "File"
    • Export
    • Choose the File name
    • Save as type:
      • Choices
        WAV,AIFF, and other uncompressed types
        MP3
        etc.
    That way you no longer have that to deal with. You could then use Switch 2.03 to go a step further, if you like.
