Is the free antivirus offered through SBC Yahoo which is Computer Associate antivirus ( i think ) any good? I do recall hearing something about a weakness that allowed easy break in's to users systems not to long ago, that applied to a lot of virus vendors. Has this been fixed and is this CA any good. I use Anti vir now but i do notice that the anti vir guard turns off rarely on it's own. This is why i'm thinking of the switch.

It's OK, not the best AV on the market. Keep in mind that it is free for 1 year, then you have to buy a subscription after the free period expires. If you are using AntiVir now, take a look a AVG Free and AVAST Home.
