I've been using GPU-Z for quite some time now, and it's a great little app for info about your video card, including temp and voltage monitoring. I'm running an NVidia GTX260 (SP216), and the GPU-Z sensors tab shows two different GPU temp readings, and two different PCB temp readings (see screen shot attached). And if I remember correctly, you can configure it to show an additional 2 temp readings for both the GPU and PCB for a total of four different temperature readings for the GPU and the PCB. Why? What are the other temps taken from? How can there be 2 or 4 different GPU temps?

    Hi dlb

Think at times depending in the CPU, GPU that the multi processors are listed so you see duplicates, in other instances its not always these apps actually report the correct sensor chips info, depends if the right mobo info is coded into the app.

Could also be that multiple sensors are on the mobo, CPU may have multiples if a multi caore anyways.

If they dont know th esensor chip they report weird info and AUX sometimes pops up in the list.

Multi-Core GPU??? GPU-Z only reports info from the video card, nothing else. I find it very strange that it reports multiple temps from a single video card. I'm thinking it must different temp sensors on the video card: like a core/die temp, and maybe a surface temp.... I don't know.... weird....
    :confused
