Question about Mini iPods

Do mini iPods work on airplanes?

As long as the battery doesn't die, they'll work on a plane, or on a train. Green eggs and ham and all that too...

i hear they don't let laptops on planes cause you can make a bomb with some parts in it or something

 

they say you can use them during flight but not during take off or landing. laptops aren't allowed because they fall under the "communication devices" category.

 

I fly at least once a month and always use my laptop on the plane. As was said earlier though, must turn it off during take off and landing.

They will make you take it out of the back when going through security.

Well, since this thread was actually about ipods, yes, of course they work on a plane.

ipods work on planes, so do any devices so long as they are not transmitting radio signals.

Laptops are allowed, as long as you can unplug/turn off any wireless internet adapter you may have.

i heard that the ipod can only work on some pc's. does any1 know what ones they are? cos i really wont one but dont wanna buy one & it doesnt work

 

they work on windows 2000 and xp and not sure which mac is required. However, i heard that there is another way to get them to work on 98 don't know how, if you give us your operating system we can find out for you.

 

You can get win98 drivers for them, but I don't THINK iTunes works on 98 (I might be wrong)

 

You have to use an older version of itunes, the latest one is 4.7 and i think you need something like version 4.1 for 98, might be wrong there.
