Question about RAM

    I have a back-up computer which is lacking in the ram department

    I can add 2 sticks up to 1GB at 200 or 266

    The thing is, I have 2 x 512 lying around but they are at 400.

    Can I somehow add these?

    If they are the same Type of ram you possibly can and your mother board may clock them down...how ever i think that the 200/266 ram will be SD and the 400 will be DDR, if thats the case it won't fit the slot...ii am not the best at this so i would wait for further opinions

    oh bugger.. i forgot it would be SD

    Thats why something wasn't making sense in my head, so I figured I'd ask..
