Question about Redirect Virus & Router Infection

We have a router and 2 computers, a desktop that's a wired connection to the router and a laptop that's a wireless connection. Only the laptop is experiencing the Redirection problems.

So my questions are... if the router were infected would both computers be having the redirection issue? AND since only the laptop has the problem can I Safely assume the router is NOT infected?

I'm about to begin the "fix" process provided here at MG but would rather avoid the router reset if possible.

    Thanks for you help.

My best guess is that the router is not infected. Please do the Read and Run First instructions and attach the requested logs. ;)
