   I just bought a new laptop that didn't come with bluetooth and I'm looking to buy an external one. I want it to be out of the way so I'd prefer not to get a USB one, so instead I would like a pcmcia one if it would stay out of the way. I was just wondering, do these cards stick out of the laptop very far?

   about 25~40mm, dependent on the make of card and wether the antenna is th ebuilt in type, advice goto PC retailer and see if they will demonstrate the overhang.
