Question about Windows Updates

    I'm running XP Pro SP2.... where does Windows Update download the update files to? I know it downloads the files to a default location before installing them; where is this default location?

    Thanx. I'll check it out. I'm sure it's the same on Home and Pro.
    Yeah- I don't use Automatic Updates either. I don't like the thought of something, anything, being installed without my expressed permission; even if the AutoUpdates do warn you.....
