Howdy all. I'm currently building my first system and have come across a question I thought I'd ask you guys. I'm planning on getting a Asus P5WD2 Premium motherboard, but after checking the specs for it I notice it doesn't show IDE RAID support just SATA I/II RAID support. I notice that the Asus P5ND2-SLI Deluxe motherboard lists both IDE and SATA I/II support. Maybe it's just me and I'm reading the specs wrong, but does this mobo (P5WD2 Premium) not have IDE RAID support? Thanks for any help.

Looking at this then NO it doesnt support IDE RAID, but does support 2 types of RAID controller the Intel Matrix Raid ( which I'm actually wanting to try myself ) and Silicon Image RAID controller.
