Question-interpreting-Task-Manager-info

Hi-my-PC-has-3gb-of-RAM,-but-Task-Manager-shows-this-info:

Physical-Memory-(MB)

Total........2,941..MB
Cached.....1,937..MB
Free.........43......MB

If-I-get-this-right-this-is-showing-my-3gigs-next-to-Total,-and-almost-2gigs-next-to-Cached....But-where-did-my-other-Gigabite-go???
Next-to-"Free"-is-only-showing-43-(MB)..It-should-show-my-other-Gig,,Right?

The-graph-says-I'm-using-1.5MB...and-it-shows-the-RAM-is-at-50%...so-That's-2Gigs...how-do-I-get-my-other-Gigabite?
