    Hi Everyone

    Here is my problem, whenever i am reading an article like CNN, i will be in the middle of the paragraph reading then all of a sudden the page will go back to the top of the article. I have tried to read other articles, and the problem still persist, i can scroll down a page then all of a sudden it goes back up to the top of the page by itself.

    I have run a scan with Spyware doctor and the only thing found was tracking cookies and adware, everything was quarantined. I have run a virus scan and nothing was found.

    Can someone tell me what is possibly happening and provide a solution. Thanks

    I tend to doubt this is a malware issue. You can run the READ & RUN ME First cleaning procedure and attach the logs to be sure but I think you should be posting in the Software Forum especially if this only happens when doing that one particular thing.

    I do not know what this is, thats the reason i posted it in malware first, this happens whenever i am on any page, i could be on my homepage and scroll down, then all of a sudden it goes back up to the top of the page. Thanks

    If you want to positively determine if you are having malware problems, please follow the instructions in the below link and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.


    READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide
    • If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going.
    • Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not.
    Notes:

    1. If you run into problems trying to run the READ & RUN ME or any of the scans in normal boot mode. You can run steps in safe boot mode but make sure you tell us what you did later when you post logs. See the below if you do not know how to boot in safe mode:
    2. If you have problems downloading on the problem PC, download the tools on another PC and burn to a CD. Then copy them to the problem PC. You will have to skip getting updates if (and only if) your internet connection does not work. Yes you could use a flash drive too but flash drives are writeable and infections can spread to them.
